Only me

Alone,

Away from all

I realize that I have nothing.

Only friends,

And family.

Only people.

I do not have money,

I do not have fame.

I have only love.

The love I get from them,

Is the one thing that sustains me,

The thing that keeps me alive.

I am only one human,

Only a grain in the sands of time.

But that might change.

One day I will change lives.

One day I will conquer mountains.

Until then…

I will hold on to my dreams,

I will stay in constant prayer.

Maybe one day…

God will hear.
